The project involved developing a barren rocky piece of land (being used as a playground by the locals) into a Football Ground of international standard. The advantage the site had was that it nestled away from the main road, accessible by a narrow approach and opened into an open space surrounded by small hillocks all around.
What stands today is a beautifully curated Football Ground (size 92.10 m x 62.60 m) covered with natural grass turf and has facility of conventional sprinkler irrigation system. It is lined with covered Spectator Stand on one side and can seat approximately 550 spectators.
A Sports Complex (having approx. 725.00 Sq.m) built-up area quaintly stands in one corner and houses the administrative office, VIP room, conference room, gymnasium, stores; Changing rooms (2 Nos.) for players with adequate number of shower rooms, toilets , Table tennis room, reading room, martial arts room, games room, etc
